Sesshin (unite mind) is a very powerful and deep gathering of students united in realizing and expressing the Dharma through essential silence, zazen, kinhin, samu, chanting and jihatsu. In sesshin, we forge ahead, distilling our consciousness and realizing our own Buddhahood. This is the same determination the Buddha demonstrated as he sat beneath the Bodhi tree, vowing not to rise until he achieved satori. As a sangha, we each contribute and take strength from the whole as we cut through delusion/ignorance and realize the great way. Harvest Sesshin will offer Jukai (lay precepts) at its conclusion for those qualified students.
Sesshin will be held at the temple in Bushkill, Pennsylvania 18324
